About IHS

Dr. Meredith Young founded Integrative Health Services in 1997 to guide patients to a healthier lifestyle. She is a certified acupuncturist and herbalist and naturopathic practitioner whose goal is to help patients discover the healing power of nature. Her comprehensive knowledge of the benefits of Western medicine and a range of specialties in alternative fields allows her to integrate acupuncture, nutritional counseling, and supplementation with herbals, vitamins, and minerals to help bring the body to balance and wellness. As a craniosacral therapist, Meredith uses her healing touch to gently relieve a variety of aches and pains or help relieve anxiety and stress.

In addition to Dr. Young, there are several other practitioners at work at Integrative Health Services. Dr. Robert Coleman is a naturopathic physician with an ND degree from Bastyr as well as a massage therapist. His specialty is dealing with pain and manual therapies. We share space with massage therapists, a registered laser nurse and 2 other acupuncturists. Our front desk is ably managed by Jean Leslie and Gus Azinger manages the inventory and book-keeping, always with a smile.

We are located in the heart of the business district of Shorewood, just a few miles from downtown Milwaukee. The clinic is in a 3 story building on the main (also known as the 2nd) floor and right next to what used to be The Shorewood Inn (for those who have been in the area a while) and then the Brit Inn (for those around a few years) and now as yet to be determined neighbor. Parking is easy on the street in front or their is a municipal lot just a bit south and across the street. (Watch the signs to be sure you are in the right spot.)
